Woman and his two children found guilty for undressing a lady

The Balaka Magistrate Court has found guilty Rose Mandiwa and her two children Lydia and Deus Matewere on charges of insulting and assaulting the modesty of a woman and indecent exposure.

The three allegedly undressed a woman name withheld on suspicion that she was in love affair with husband a woman who has been found guilty in the case.

Balaka police publicist Chisomo Kanyimbi said the case will proceed on 22 April for the accused to answer malicious damage and robbery charges.

Lawyers for Mandiwa and her two children asked the court to consider granting bail to the convicts and the court will give direction on this on the 22nd of April.

The court has not yet set the date for the sentencing on the charges the three have already been convicted.
