Malosa Secondary School in Zomba has been hit by a wave of unrest as students took to the streets and damaged school property following a disagreement with school authorities
According to sources, the students went on a rampage yesterday, damaging school property in protest against what they perceive to be mistreatment by school authorities.
The Zomba police station publicist, Patricia Supriano, confirmed the incident and promised to provide more details as investigations continue.
School management is said to be in crisis mode as they try to come up with a solution to the problem.
It is unclear if classes will be conducted today as school authorities are still trying to resolve the matter and bring the situation under control.
