Two thieves who robbed two businessmen Mk1.6 million arrested in Chikwawa

Police in Chikwawa have taken into custody two suspected criminals; believed to have been terrorizing the district.

The duo is suspected to have robbed two businessmen of cash amounting to K1.6 million and 9 cellphones valued at K269,000.00.

The suspects have been identified as White Shuga 31, of Chinangwa Village, Traditional Authority Katunga and Emmanuel Msosa 20, of Modzi Village of Traditional Authority Makhwira both in Chikwawa District.

The police say that the duo in the wee hours of May 1, stormed residences of two businessmen based at Masenjere trading centre whilst armed with panga knives where they hacked the owners and three other family members, before making away with K800, 000 cash.
