Two Arrested for Stealing K950,000 Motorcycle in Ntchisi Parish Store Break-In

Two individuals are currently in police custody in Ntchisi for allegedly breaking into Kaphatika Catholic Parish Stores and stealing a red Kavac motorcycle worth K950,000.

According to Ntchisi Police publicist Yohane Tasowana, the suspects have been identified as Edward Chimkwende, 31, and John Mayala, 25.

Tasowana also added that the police were able to recover the motorcycle at Kanengo in Lilongwe, where the suspects were reportedly offering it for sale.

Both suspects, who hail from Chimkwende Village and Malaya Village respectively, will soon appear in court to face charges related to the break-in.
