Nkhunga Police say an 18 year-old boy has committed suicide by hanging over unspecified reasons in Dwangwa, Nkhotakota.

Spokesperson for Nkhunga Police Thandiwe Maseko said the deceased, Chikaiko Goodson, reportedly took his life in the wees hour Thursday at Mowe Village 1 within Dwangwa Estate.

Autopsy examination found the death was as a result of suffocation.

The deceased hailed from Kamange Village in the area of Traditional Authority Mphonde in the district.
