Former President Peter Mutharika has joined Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Zomba Malosa Grace Kwelepeta’s 42nd birthday.

In a statement posted on facebook, Mutharika urged Kwelepeta to continue putting the welfare of people of Zomba Malosa constituency at heart.

“President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and Madame Gertrude Mutharika with the entire DPP family wishes you well on the occasion of your 42nd Happy birthday. Continue serving people of Zomba Malosa Constituency and the Democratic Progressive Party- DPP with diligence, dedication and commitment,” reads in part the statement.

MP Kwelepeta is one of the few royal DPP members.
