Martse’s family against sale of merchandise branded “Too Ghetto Too Ghatta”

Family members of late Martse, real name Martin Nkhata have spoken against the sale of merchandise branded “Too Ghetto. Too Ghatta” without consent.

Following the death of Martse, some people have taken advantage of it by producing t-shirts barreling the label of the deceased.

The said t-shirts have flooded the market and are selling like hot-cakes.

In a statement seen by this publication the family has pleaded with people behind the said t-shirts to stop producing them.

“The family wishes to state that no one is allowed to produce or sell T shirts and all other merchandise that bears the late Martse’s brand “Too Ghetto. Too Gutter” without the consent of the family through his older brother, Jerome Nkhata,” reads in part the statement posted on well-known right activists and a writer Pemphero Mphande’s facebook page.

The body of Martse will be laid to rest today at HHI Cemetery in Lilongwe.
