Telecommunication services providers Access Communication and Afrimax risk having their licenses revoked, as they owe Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (Macra) K698.2 million and K196.2 million respectively.
This has been revealed in a communication by Macra, signed by its Director General Daud Suleman.
The communication reveals that on May 31, 2023 Macra revoked courier license for Skynet Worldwide Express and on June 27, 2023 it revoked content license for Maziko Radio Station and courier license for VB Courier.
Macra says Skynet Worldwide Courier owes it K13.5 million, Maziko Radio Station owes it K19.3 million and VB Courier owes it K13.1 million.
