Jailed former Information Minister Henry Mussa is today applying for bail pending appeal at the Lilongwe High Court

Mussa, a senior Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) member, was sentenced to five years in March, 2023. He was sentenced alongside former Director of Information Gideon Munthali.

The two were convicted of conspiracy to steal and receiving stolen goods in relation to the missing ten computers and a Genset at Ministry of Information.
