After spending a long time without sponsorship, now Ntopwa Queens players can breathe another life thanks to a one-year K20 million sponsorship deal with Kukoma oil company Capital Refining Industries.
The company has announced that it has entered into a one-year agreement with Ntopwa Queens team and will pump in K20 million to the team which will now be called Kukoma Ntopwa Women’s football Club.
Kukoma Sponsorship Cordinator Violet Kapolo, said they have joined forces with the team in order to help girls, considering that the oil they sell is mostly used by women.
Ntopwa FC Director Isaac Jomo Osman, said they are happy with the arrival of the help and it will reduce some of the problems they face as a team.
Jomo has also asked people in the country to use the products made by the company because it is the first company that has shown interest in promoting women’s football in the country.
This year, the team represented Malawi at the CAF Women’s Football Championship in South Africa.
