On October 30, 2023, the Phalombe First Grade Magistrate has scheduled a further hearing for musician Gwaladi Joe’s grievous harm case.
Earlier today, Gwaladi entered a plea of not guilty to the charges against him.
The state prosecutor, a police officer stationed at Phalombe Police Station named Dingiswayo Mbepula, informed the court that three witnesses are ready to testify against the suspect, who is accused of assaulting his wife.
First Grade Magistrate Leonard Mtosa subsequently adjourned the case to Monday, October 30, 2023, to allow for further proceedings.
Gwaladi Joe comes from Namuthu village within the jurisdiction of Traditional Authority Kaledzera in Phalombe district.
The case has garnered significant attention, and many are closely following the legal proceedings.
