Governments has revealed its plans of building Northern Region airport in Mzuzu city and other developmental projects.
The sentiment has been by President Lazarus Chakwera in 50th august house when he was responding to questions raised by some members of parliament following the State of National Address the president presented last week.
On rehabilitation of Mzuzu airport, Chakwera said his government is planning on building a bigger airport to accommodate international flights in the city.
However, Chakwera has also assured Malawian the progress of the developments that were started by the previous administration need to be completed because they are good for the livelihood of Malawians.
On mega farm, Chakwera says government has started taking some steps towards achieving the project.
Meanwhile Chakwera has directed the Ministry of agriculture to develop a concept with guidelines to map the way forward on the implementation of the development as government has already identified large scale farms in Karonga, Nkhatabay, Mangochi and Balaka
