Col. Panji Kaunda, first son to Zambia’s founding father Kenneth Kaunda has responded to critics mocking him that he is too old to be appointed High Commissioner.

Last week, President Hakainde Hichilema appointed Col. Kaunda (Rtd) and others to represent Zambia in various countries.

Col. Kaunda (Rtd) has been appointed as a High Commissioner to Malawi.

This attracted mixed reactions from Zambians on social media who questioned his ability to effectively represent the country due to his advanced age.
