The extradition case involving Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary is expected to continue today, May 15, 2024, at the Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate Court.
Bushir’s spokesperson Aubrey Kusakala has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.
The court will continue hearing the testimony from the South Africa state witness identified as Sibongire Mzinyathi.
In her testimony, Mzinyathi has admitted that they did not prepare a charge sheet containing charges Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary are answering which the court was supposed to read before the two accused as per requirement by law.
Mzinyathi, Director of Public Prosecutions from Gauteng Province in South, is being cross examined by defence lawyer Wapona Kita at the Chief Resident Magistrate Court in Lilongwe.
