Choma Records 118 Breaking-Ins, Burglary Cases In Zambia

Choma district in Zambia has recorded 118 cases of house breaking-ins and burglary in the in a space of six months.

This has been revealed by Southern Province Commissioner of Police, Auxensio Daka, during the during a press briefing held today at Choma Central Police Station.

According to Daka, police have arrested four people for being found in possession of several household goods believed to have been stolen.

He invited people who have lost property in the District to visit Choma Central Police station to identify some of the items recovered.

Daka assured that with load shedding in effect, Police will increase patrols in Choma District.

Some recovered items include a 43-inch Samsung Plasma TV, 43-inch Smart TV, 32-inch Supersonic TV, two 32-inch Skyworth Plasma tv, 32-inch LG tv and a14 inch LED tv.

Other items are Hp Full set Desktop Computer, Dell full set Desktop Computer, 6 sets of brand-new hair barbing machines and 3 mobile phones namely Tecno and 1 itel.

Also recovered is a LG home theatre, 1 Real home theatre, 1 Philips home theatre, a Defy fridge, King Spring mattress, Queen spring mattress and 2 Mountain bicycles.
