Parliament has passed the defense Force bill that will provides composition of army, marine force, the air force and national service as a reserve force of the army.

Minister of Defense Harry Mkandawire,  has confirmed the development and  said that  the bill seeks to recruit  skilled youth  as national service that will be  delegated to industrialization and  developmental activities like producing copper, cable’s and mental

In additional Mkandawire said that the bill has also policy that will enable Malawi Defense force (MDF) and Malawi police to work together on issues of national interest and to restrict Defense force not be above the law…
