22 people arrested for killing Liwonde National Park Ranger Given Gondwe

A total of 22 people have been arrested in connection to the killing of Liwonde National Park Ranger, Given Gondwe last week.

Machinga Police Officer-in-Charge Owen Maganga has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Gondwe was killed by a gang while in the line of duty in Machinga district.

He met his fate as he, and his team were on undercover operation in Kaliati Village in Traditional Authority Liwonde in Machinga to recover a rhino horn, from one that was killed some weeks ago by suspected poachers.
