A Magistrate court in Balaka has today convicted a woman, Rose Mandiwa, and her two children, Deus and Lydia Matewere for causing grievous bodily harm to a woman suspected of having an affair with her husband.

The trio pleaded guilty to three charged but has denied two counts of insulting the modesty of a woman and robbery.

The state say it will parade three witnesses against the three.

First Grade Magistrate Phillip Chibwana said the three will remain in custody until Wednesday this week when the case will be back in court hearing and sentencing.
