900 MILLION US DOLLARS NEEDED TO FIX ROADS IN MALAWI

Minister of transport, Jacob Hara has said the country needs 900 million US dollars to fix roads that have been affected by cyclones in some parts of Malawi.

Hara revealed this when responding to questions directed to the Ministry of Transport in the August house.

According to Hara, it is very difficult task to raise the amount of money since the national budget cannot offer that amount.

He further mentioned that government is not putting effort on how to assist on this issue.
