A 27-year-old Mobile Money Agent of Nakonde District has been robbed of five phones and 20-thousand kwacha cash by two men who were armed with a gun and a machete.

Perthias Mwansa, who operates at Black Market on the no-man’s land between Zambia and Tanzania, was shot by the robbers before they went away with five Itel and Samsung phones and money which were in a Laptop bag.

Muchinga Province Police Deputy Commanding Officer Ronald Zambo says during the robbery, the robbers shot Mr. Mwansa on the left thigh and hack£d him on the back of the head.

According to ZNBC News, Mr. Zambo said in a statement that the robbery happened at Ntindi Village around 19:00-hours, when Mr. Mwansa was walking home after knocking off from work.
