A 30-year-old man of Shiwang’andu district has been arrested for allegedly repeatedly defiling his nine-year-old biological daughter whenever he had an argument with his wife.

Kennedy Chilufya, of Septi village, was arrested on Monday after he was caught by his wife when he attempted to defile the girl.

He picked a fight with his wife, which later turned physical until the woman left the house, leaving him with their four children.

Muchinga Province commanding officer Kaunda Mubanga said in an interview that Chilufya’s wife, however, returned to her matrimonial house later in the night and found her husband attempting to defile their daughter.
