A real like Maame Water, aka Mermaid, has been spotted at a popular beach in Lagos as a video of it has just surfaced on social media.

The said creature was reportedly crushed at the shore of the popular beach in Lagos, Nigeria.

A video that captures the exact moment the was twisting and turning as it looks stranded has since surfaced.

From the video, is it difficult to ascertain the gender of the said creature, since most Maami Water are deemed to be female.

This is not the first time a mermaid has been spotted on the shores of a West African country.

Last year, a mermaid was spotted on the shore of Ghana as well.
