Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President Walter Nyamilandu has been elected into the CAF Executive Committee.

Nyamilandu has outclassed his two opponents with 35 votes during the Elections held on the sidelines of the CAF AGM in Benin.

His opponents Mohamed Ally Samir Sobha from Mauritius and Mokhosi Mohapi of Lesotho got 15 and 3 votes respectively.

Soccer lovers have since taken to social media to congratulate Nyamilandu.
