Former leader of opposition and veteran politician John Tembo has turned 90 years of age today.

He is celebrating his birthday just few days after President Lazarus Chakwera and his wife paid him a visit.

Tembo was the president of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) before handing over to Chakwera.
