The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Wildlife, Dr. Michael Usi has spent 35 million kwacha to 24 groups of local businesspersons in Dedza district.

According to Usi, the money will help the groups to venture into small scale eco-tourism businesses so that they should depend themselves economically.

This was during the opening of Chongoni Office Block, information center and a workshop for crafts workers in Dedza district.

Usi said the constructions will be used to present the country’s legacy and cultural products.
