UK Prime Minister, Boris and Carrie Johnson’s baby had Covid and was ‘hit quite badly’ by the virus

Romy, the newborn daughter of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was badly-hit by Covid when she was just five weeks old.

The 57-year-old Prime Minister had vanished from the public eye last Thursday after a member of his family tested positive for the virus.

It’s now claimed little Romy was ‘hit quite badly’ with the illness. She’s believed to be “on the mend.” Daily Mail reports.

The last few weeks has also been challenging for the British Prime Minister. He pulled out of a visit to Lancashire last week after revealing he’d been in close contact with a relative who had COVID-19.

A No10 spokesman said he would “follow the guidance for vaccinated close contacts, including daily testing and limiting contact with others’”.

On the same day he withdrew from his trip, he issued an apology to the Queen after two boozy parties were held at Downing Street the day before Prince Philip’s funeral.
