United Democratic Front (UDF) youths in the Northern Region have asked Atupele Muluzi to reverse his decision of resigning as the Party President.

Muluzi resigned from frontline politics on Saturday and UDF MP for Mangochi South Liliani Patel is now Acting UDF President.

In a letter addressed to UDF Secretary General, the youths from Mzuzu have asked Atupele to rescind his decision on the matter.

According to the youths, Muluzi is a capable leader who can stir the party to form the next government in 2025 polls.
