Two women are hospitalised at Katondwe Hospital in Luangwa District after they were attacked by elẽphants.
The incident happened yesterday at around 18:00 hours in Luangwa Town.
Luangwa Council Chairperson LAWRENCE SHABA has confirmed this to ZNBC News adding that one of the two women is seven months prẽgnant.
He however says both are stable and currently receiving medical attention.
Mr. SHABA has urged residents to be cautious following the increased cases of elephant attacks recently.
