Machinga Police Public Relations Officer Western Kansire has confirmed the arrested of men identified as White Misokwe and Chitenji Meja for allegedly possessing a live pangolin.

Kansire says the two were arrested after police recieved a tip from the public.

The two will appear before court to answer the charges of illegal possession of specimen of listed species contrary to section 110(b) of national parks and wildlife act.
