Three people have been confirmed dead and 7 others have been injured after a truck collided with a small car at a place called Bawi-Masitolo on the M1 road in Ntcheu district this morning

Balaka district police spokesperson Mercy Nyirenda has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press, saying the three were pronounced dead upon arrival at Balaka District Hospital

According to Nyirenda, two people have been sent to Zomba General Hospital while three have been admitted to Balaka Hospital where they are receiving treatment.
