Estranged Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey has said that the National Governing Council (NGC) meeting scheduled to for tomorrow in the capital Lilongwe ahead of the party’s elective conference is on.

The development comes amid claims by some party top officials led by DPP Vice President for Eastern Region Bright Msaka quashing the meeting.

In a jingle currently circulating on Social media, Jeffrey has listed the former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the party as one of the delegates.

Jeffrey wa Jeffrey said the NGC meeting is scheduled to commence at 8:30am and one of the agendas is to prepare for the elective conference this month as ordered by the court.
