Timothy Ntilosanje faces Parliamentary Committee on Health over Kottana Chidyaonga’s death

Late Kottana Chidyaonga’s boyfriend, Timothy Ntilosanje is appearing before the Parliamentary Committee on Health where he has made several demands, two years after the snake bite incident.

Ntilosanje has questioned the manner in which the Medical Council of Malawi handled the case and punishment that was given to Dr Charles Dzamalala over an autopsy report into the death of late Kottana.

The medical council found Dr Dzamalala guilty for concluding that the late Kottana died of Termic poisoning.

Ntilosanje has asked the committee to rehear the case to check whether the punishment to Dr Dzamalala which he feels was lenient was within the council’s limits.

He has also proposed that Police Officers and Court Judges should have knowledge of work of pathologists to avoid foul play.
