A woman who composed ‘Tikhale chete kwa Kamuzu’s song identified as Lyness Mkandawire has died this morning at Mzuzu Central Hospital after a long illness.

Family members have confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying burial is scheduled for Friday in Lusangazi Township.

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) is yet to comment on the matter.
