Three security guards working at Smallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund (SFFRF), have been arrested in Nkhotakota for allegedly stealing 54 bags of fertilizer under the Affordable Inputs Program.

Sergeant Thandiwe Maseko Mshanga who is the Public Relations Officer for Nkhunga Police Station, has identified the three as Buti Banda, aged 47, Titus Phiri aged 35 and 32-year-old Isaac Mafupa.

She said it was observed that the bags of fertilizer valued at about four million kwacha, were missing during distribution exercise on 8th February, which has led to the arrest of the three security guards.
