The Malawi Police Service (MPS) has interdicted three of its officers for allegedly impounding and selling Chamba in Nkhotakota.
MPS Deputy Director of Human Resource Management Maxton Kalimanjira, has confirmed of the development, saying the three have been interdicted over abuse of office.
Kalimanjira has since identified the three as Nelson Gulani, Milward Chakumanika and Robert Kapalamula.
The three are accused of selling cannabis after confiscating it from a civilian.
