Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that unknown thieves have ransacked the office of the Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima at Capitol Hill.

Lingadzi Police spokesperson Salome Zgambo has confirmed of the development with one of the local daily papers (Nation Publications Limited).

According to Zgambo, the incident is suspected to have taken place between Friday and last night.

Zgambo said that the break-in happened through the bathroom window of the office of the Principal Secretary where tonner and some biscuits have been stolen.

Meanwhile, law enforcers have launched an investigation on the matter.
