The Body Of Zambian Student Still Stuck In China Where He Died Two Months Ago

The remains of Zambian student Sampa Mwenya who passed on two months ago in China after an accident, are yet to be repatriated home.

His father, Mr Morgan Mwenya said in an interview the remains of his son have since been transferred to a funeral parlour for embalming.

Mr Mwenya explained that the family does not know when the body would arrive, depending on the funeral parlour when they would be done.

Sampa, a third-year auto mechanic student, died on April 30, 2022 in an accident. “We have no information as when the remains will be repatriated, however we have been informed by the funeral parlour that the body has since been transferred to another district for embalming and preparation for repatriation,” Mr Mwenya said.
