Teachers at St. Andrew’s International in Blantyre are on strike demanding the resignation of the school’s headteacher, Naomie Charles.

The teachers are unhappy with the way finances are being managed and say they are working in a hostile environment created by the headteacher.

The strike began on Friday and will continue until their demands are met.

Board chairperson, Dr. Luis Gadama, has asked for time before commenting. Headteacher Naomie Charles was not available for comment.
