The Clash of Titans initiative championed by Lilongwe’s popular entertainment joint Epic Exclusive Club continues to gain mileage.
Two weeks after the music battles were rolled out, the stage is set for Tay Grin to come face to face with Zambian Yo Maps on Saturday at Bingu International Convention Centre Auditorium in Lilongwe.
To perform So mone together: Yo Maps (R) and Tay Grin
In more than one aspect, the show will mirror the success of their joint hit So mone, which has become a party anthem both in Zambia and Malawi.
Speaking in an interview from the United Kingdom, Tay Grin said the show bears special significance since it will accord them a chance to perform So mone together for the first time in Malawi.
He said: “We have not had a chance to perform here together since we released So mone. It is a song which is appreciated in the two countries and most people are looking forward to that experience.
Epic Exclusive executive director Yollam Kawanga has hailed the support the Clash of Titans initiative has received.
“People are excited with the arrangement and the support has been overwhelming. As service providers we are always happy when we are providing the kind of entertainment that people can relate to and enjoy,” he said.
Meanwhile, Afro-pop musician Onesimus has been added to the performers’ list due to public demand.
