Suspects are currently trending on social media after being captured drinking beer while in one of the police cells in the northern district of Karonga.

In the video clip seen by this publication, the suspects are scene sharing the beer and one of the suspect is heard warning his friend that he will meet him soon.

The video clip has attracted mixed reactions with many questioning the conduct of some law enforcers manning the said police cell.

Meanwhile, law enforcers have launched an investigation on the matter .

District Police Publicist Sergeant George Mulewa has told the press that the investigations are aimed at establishing whether the suspects are the ones being kept at the station.

Mulewa was, however, mum as to when the investigations will be concluded saying it varies depending on the nature of an offence.
