Unknown suspected thief is in critical condition after being assaulted by angry students from Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU) in Lilongwe.

The fact of the matter is that the suspected thief snatched a cellphone from one of the female students along the road heading to MAGU campus and started running.

The student shouted for help and her fellow students responded positively and managed to apprehend the suspected thief.

The students then started administering mob justice on him. It took the intervention of the law enforcers who whisked him away.

The suspected is reportedly to be in critical condition.
