State to withdraw appeal case on Chizuma’s interdiction saga

Information reaching this publication indicates that Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda is today scheduled to withdraw an appeal case in the interdiction of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma.

According to information at hand, the withdraw of the case will be done by the two state hired lawyers.

This comes hot on the heels of a decision by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Masauko Chamkakala, to set Chizuma free from all legal entanglements ochestrated by the state recently.

One of the hired lawyers George Kadzipatike confirmed the development this morning.

Chizuma is yet to comment on the matter.
