A South African single mother tragically ended her life and that of her two children through a fatal combination of yoghurt laced with rat poison.

The shocking incident unfolded when concerned neighbors raised the alarm after an extended period without seeing the mother.

Upon investigation, the lifeless bodies of the woman and her two children were discovered in her rented apartment, accompanied by two suicide notes.

One of the notes was specifically addressed to her ex-husband and baby daddy, holding him responsible for their untimely demise.

In another note directed towards her family, she expressed her overwhelming fatigue with life and the constant strife with her former spouse.
