Six bodies recovered from the marine accident happened in Nsanje

Police in Nsanje have announced that six bodies have recovered from the marine accident happened on Monday taking the number of dead bodies to reach seven.

Nsanje Police spokesperson Agnes Zalakoma said searching is still underway to recover other missing.

On Monday morning around 7 am a canoe carrying 37 passengers hit by hippo at Phokera Dock when they tried to cross the Shire River to other side of the river in Mozambique and capsized, in the process only 13 were rescued.
