A man of Monze’s Chibuyu Compound has testified in court that he deserted his wife and his eight month old baby because she is violent an extent of pulling his private parts when they fight.

Byta FM Court Beat Journalist reports that this is in a case where Joyce Mwale, 23 of the same compound has sued Edward Ndhlovu for divorce in the Monze Urban Local Court – her husband of slightly over one year — accusing him of womanising.

Mwale accuses Ndhlovu of showing off his girlfriends at the Saloon that she runs with him.

She adds that Ndhlovu deserted her with their Eight month old baby to live with his friends, but only visits their matrimonial home to sell property that they bought together.

However, Ndhlovu argues that his wife’s habit of acting on rumours is the source of their conflict, which leads to them fighting.

He complains that the violence is so severe that she pulls him by his manhood and has even threatened to stab him with a knife and poison him.

Senior Local Magistrates Hellen Moonga adjourned the matter to the 15 March, 2022 to give the couple a chance to reconcile.
