Sentencing of Catholic Priest Thomas Muhosha who killed albino man set for today

The High Court in Blantyre is today scheduled to sentence convicted Catholic Priest Father Thomas Muhosha and 11 others in the MacDonald Masambuka murder case.

Father Thomas Muhosha of Mulombozi Parish in Zomba was arrested after he was mentioned as one of the people who took part in the brutal killing of Masambuka.

Among those convicted and expected to be sentenced today include Police officer, Chikondi Chileka, Machinga District Clinical Officer, Lumbani Kamanga and Masambuka’s biological brother Kassim Masambuka.

Father Muhosha confessed to have killed in Masambuka in mitigation stage.

He then appealed for leniency from the presiding Judge, arguing that he has changed.
