Senior Chief Chimaliro of Thyolo has passed away a week after being involved in a late-night motorbike road accident.

Ministry of Local Government, Unity, and Culture spokesperson Anjoya Mwanza confirmed this development.

It is worth noting that his demise coincides with the ongoing burial ceremony for Traditional Authority Changata, also from the same district.
