Balaka district hospital has complained that many people in the district are suffering from scabies and case are still increasing.

Spokesperson for the hospital Mercy Nyirenda, said many areas in the district have been affected with the outbreak.

According to Nyirenda, records indicate that 2102 cases have been register from May to October this year.

Health system research and management expert Professor Maureen Chirwa, said this is a very bad situation, people must practice hygiene to prevent further spread of the disease.
