A newlywed bride, Elisangela Gazano, tragically lost her life at her wedding celebration in Limeira, São Paulo.

The incident occurred when she slipped and fell into a swimming pool while dancing near the water’s edge at a rented property where the party was held.

Despite immediate rescue efforts by guests and emergency services, Gazano went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The 38-year-old had also been celebrating her daughter’s birthday on the same day.

Her funeral took place today, with her death being ruled as an accident by the Limeira police.
