An unidentified boy died, and eight others were hospitalized after a road accident today in Ntchisi.

Survivor Petro Jaziel reported the accident occurred while they were on route to a funeral at M’nyanga village.

The driver lost control after hitting a road mound.

Ntchisi district hospital spokesperson Samson Mfuyeni attributed the boy’s death to severe head injuries.
